The image that follows shows the different parts of the CADFusion workspace.

	Ribbon	The ribbon contains the menus and tools you use to work in your project. Refer to Ribbon for more information.
	Project pane	The Project pane shows you the different parts of your current project. The Tools node shows the tools that you assigned in this project. The Shapes node shows groups, shapes and entities, text shapes, hatches, and lead moves.
	Canvas	The canvas is the drawing area that shows the shapes and entities in the open project. It also shows the lead moves and entity skywriting transitions for those shapes and entities.
	Properties pane	The Properties pane shows the properties you can modify. What shows in the pane is different for what you have selected or what operation you are doing. For example, the properties pane shows: The properties of a new shape while you create the shape. The properties of existing shapes and groups that you have selected. The properties of an operation, such as Move or Extend, that you are doing on a shape.
	Operation Log	The Operation Log shows a time stamp and messages about project-level actions in CADFusion.
	Status bar	The status bar has four sections that show: The coordinates of your cursor. The operation you are currently doing. Information related to that operation. Error messages when errors occur.
